Axel Limberg
German Trade Office Taipei
Chief Representative
Axel Limberg has served as the Chief Representative of the official delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Taiwan and as Executive Director of the German Trade Office Taipei since 2017. Mr. Limberg has 18 years of experience in the energy business, where he was active at one of the major German energy utilities from 1999 to 2017. During the period from 2010 to 2016 he also has served as the President of the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In this role he was responsible for investments in renewable energies in the Czech Republic. Mr. Limberg holds a degree in Public Administration, and he studied law at the University of Hanover. He passed the second state examination in law in 1998.

Erdal Elver

Mr. Erdal Elver started his professional life with Siemens since 1984. Over the past decades, he has held various managerial positions including General Manager of Jiangsu Province and Vice President of Siemens China, as well as President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam. Since 2012, Mr. Elver was appointed to the position of President and CEO of Siemens Taiwan. In 2021, he was further appointed a dual position as President and CEO of Siemens Hong Kong and Macao. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich Germany.

Phylex Ong is the Managing Director of Beckhoff Taiwan, responsible for the management of business and operation including the sales of products, technical support, training, service and administration in the subsidiary. Phylex graduated from the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been deeply involved in the field of industrial automation for more than 16 years. He also has years of experience in handling the regional sales in South East Asia. He is familiar with various industrial applications in Taiwan, and is committed to promoting the high flexibility and efficiency of open systems to Taiwanese customers to help them increase their competitiveness.

Aditya Ramkrishna

Mr. Aditya Ramkrishna has held various roles at Siemens in sales, business development, marketing, product management, and strategy in the automation business in Germany, the U.S., and Asia since 2008. Since 2014, Mr. Ramkrishna was leading the Machine Tool Business Unit and then Factory Automation and Process Automation Business Units at Siemens DI Taiwan through a turbulent and dynamic phase and helped the customer to drive their productivity. Starting from July 2022, Mr. Ramkrishna was appointed to the position of the Vice President of Siemens Ltd Taiwan, and the General Manager of Digital Industries Taiwan.

Mr. Gorden Lai joined igus Taiwan in 2005, as a sales coordinator. In the past years, he has been Industrial Manager of FPD and Electronic Industry and also Project Manager of igus Taiwan. Mr. Lai is now the Director of E-Chain systems of igus Taiwan. He was graduated from the department of Industry Engineering, National Formosa University.

Jenny Shern is the General Manager of NexCOBOT, where she manages robotic automation product development, and builds strategic partnership with robotic and machine key accounts.
