According to TrendForce (2021/8) research, the digital transformation driven by the COVID-19 pandemic and the awareness of ESG & zero emission, the increasing demand for remote precise operations and automation, as well as value-added services such as 5G and Al technology, the global smart the manufacturing market will grow up from 305 billion US dollars in 2021 and is expected to reach US$450 billion by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 10.5%. Taiwan already has a good technological foundation for machine tools and precision machinery and metal hardware. The United States has always had a solid foundation in the development of technologies such as intelligent system integration, Al software, and collaborative robot platform. To pursue the fast-growing market and technology development, establishing strong and resilient strategic partnerships is a trend.
